OCEAN COUNTY HOSTS 20TH ANNUAL POLISH FLAG RAISING CEREMONY

TOMS RIVER – The Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders invites the public to attend the 20th annual Polish Flag Raising Ceremony at noon on Monday, May 3 at the Ocean County Administration Building, 101 Hooper Ave., here.

“This ceremony commemorates the 219th anniversary of Polish Constitution Day,” said Freeholder Director James F. Lacey. “It is a time for us all to reflect on not only the past accomplishments of the Polish Americans, but also their continuing contributions to Ocean County.”

The ceremony will begin in Room 119 and then move outside for the raising of the flag.
